Be a Part of the Team

Join us for practice at the West Chester YMCA (see practice schedule for times). The first week of practice will be an evaluation period. During this period the coaches will view each swimmer’s level of proficiency and make initial lane assignments.

To participate on the team at this level, swimmers must demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency. Swimmers must be able to competently make all the practice sets without slowing or causing congestion. Swimmers must also demonstrate ability to do proper turns. The necessary level of proficiency will be determined by the coaching staff relative to the number of athletes registered.
